Song Released: 2009
Whatcha Say Lyrics
Ooh whatcha say
Mmm that you only meant well
Well of course you did
Mmm whatcha say
Mmm that it's all for the best
Of course it is
I was so wrong
For so long
Only trying to please myself
Girl I was...

#1 top rated interpretation:i think it means that he loves this girl and he got caught cheating but the girl he was cheating with means nothing to him, he loves the girl its about and its saying how he would do anything to be with her and how he cant live with out her and how he wants another chance to prove it to her
-
its about someone who cheated on his girl and then regretted it and realized the girl he was with was his soulmate and he loved her and wanted to prove to her that he loved her and that he would do anything to make it up to her

This is a funny MLG song
-
I think it is about a man who cheats on his partner and then wants to get her heck. "Whatcha Say" is like his way of asking if she'll try again. "When I became a star we'll be living so large" is his way of promising her the world of fame and fortune to make up for his mistake.

I understood the song from the very beginning. Its about him cheating and then wanting the girl he cheated on back. And also that then girl he cheated on her with means nothing. In my opinion if I was the girl he wanted back (which ironicly I was a few weeks ago) I would\did not take him back. He made the choose all on his own and needsmto grow up and take responsibility for what he did. I wonder if Jason derulo actually cheated though. Overall I enjoy the song. It puts me in my feelings. ☺

Basically it is an apology to someone and how he wanted
instead of gave. How is was his fault for her troubles.
Heartwarming love was put in this song!
