Jason Walker: What if I Told You Meaning
What if I Told You Lyrics
-
My interpretation is a man in love with a woman, he's been hiding behind a mask maintaining a charade so he can have some kind or any kind of contact with her. He's afraid to tell her his real thoughts and be himself around her because he's afraid she will not like the real him and he is afraid of losing her. This is a better interpretation if you base it from the lyrics.
But if you base it from the previous interpretation, the man should be content and happy with his marriage with his wife. Forget the woman who is destroying his mind, heart, and soul. He should have been wise from the first place and he should have married the woman that he is really in love with.
Reasons why relationships are destroyed because humans are not content with what is already in front of them. Be wise, if you are unsure, don't get married with any woman to satisfy your earthly desires. You only live once so choose the right woman and have pure intentions. Check the naked recent post.

My interpretation is a man in love with a woman that he can't be with and so he's been hiding behind a mask maintaining a charade so he can have some kind or any kind of contact with her. He's afraid to tell her because not only could it be dangerous for him because maybe he's already in a relationship that he can't for whatever reasons get out of, but because he's afraid to come out and tell her for fear of losing her.

Well I think it's of a story of someone struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts thinking about how it would be if they told someone how they are truly feeling and not only that but the secrets they hide behind to keep them from getting hurt
-
Secrecy and someone being hurt by the secrets.
-
Someone coming out gay.
-
Someone admitting to there friend all there personal secrets like cutting or depressed or something. Or someone admitting there love to there friend..
