   I think the song it is about lolinnes and depression. When you suffer from chronic depression your mind can make you feel as if you were tripping, ex. Experiencing disassociated states, overthinking.But it's a never ending cycle, just like tripping depression can give you some bad trips but at the end you realize ur ok n it wasn't that bad and repeat the cycle knowing you got superpower meaning you come out of a dark place knowing you have control over your mind and everything that lives throws at you.

   I thought this website was gonna have a STRAIGHT foward interpretation to this song. (I thought wrong).
   
   Even if it was a acid trip in which your stating were real then i wouldn't know much about it...It sounds like hes over-thinking not just on the past but everything in general.

   No he's fucked up on acid and is tripping tits he took alot of acid and got on the mic. He's describing his thoughts and what he is feeling. Any person who has tried the drug would understand.

   He's talking about lonliness for sure. Cudi obviously has taken many drugs in his life. He said im stuck in rewind and I'm in a prison. I believe this means he keeps revisiting the painful memories of his life. He can't keep from thinking about all the tradgedies that have faced him. It's not good to sit around and dwell on the negative as we all know. He knows its not healthy to be caught in his thoughts all day long. He also mentions he doesn't think it's so bad. I believe this is because he has a way of acceptance or self management with his issues.

   Trapped in My Mind is a song describing Cudi's Thoughts, While the first verse describes how his thoughts stick with him, and are trapped in the walls of his mind. The second verse, beginning with "you see the sun seems to shine when I am not looking oh he’s seen the trick every time" Is about Cudi writing his music. This particular line is a metaphor for how he stays up all night writing whats in his mind, even until sunrise
