I found this song when I first became clean & sober & was attending a Bible study group that focused on how the scriptures can help with addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma and mental illness. This song helped me understand that I need to give everything to Him, every struggle, issue, burden & stress, and NOT take it back to try and deal with it on my own. No matter how unworthy we may feel He shows us time & again that He wants us to turn to Him for guidance. He cares enough to shelter a tiny sparrow so He certainly cares enough to shelter our worries from the storms, and if He has the strength to guide the oceans and seasons then we can trust Him to guide our lives back to hope and love. All we need to do is let Him. Give "Everything" to Him as He gives everything to us, and gave everything for us!
