Lindsey Lohan: Confessions of a Broken Heart Meaning
Confessions of a Broken Heart Lyrics
And I wait for the good Lord to make me feel better
And I carry the weight of the world on my shoulders
Family in crisis that only grows older
Why'd you have to go?
Why'd you have to go?

This is a very sad song. I also feel like the father is an alcoholic man and very aggressive with mom. She deserves better.

This song is about what she went through as a little girl. This song is true because she sent it to her father while he was in jail and he sent one back that you can find somewhere on the internet.

i can definately relate to this song because my relationship with my father isn't the best.
'i wait for the postman to bring me a letter' explains waiting for some sort of contact from her father.
'why'd you have to go?' is her questioning why her father would treat her and her family the way he did.
throughout the song, linsday shows she misses what she had with her dad, and wishes to have it back.
it's a very depressing song and divorce is hard on anyone.

Even though I don't like her this song is so sad. Shi is sing to her dad asking why he left her and how much pain she is in. She also questions if he ever loved her because she doesn't see it for herself. She loves him but doesn't know why he left.
