   I think it’s about abuse. I think they love each other, but he abused her. So she had to leave, even though she didn’t really want to. Which also ties in with the, ‘It’s not long till everybody knows’ lyric. I think the ‘sunlight is shining on her now’ because she’s away from the abuse. I think ‘The sunlights crying on her now’ because she’s away from the person she loves, And she’s sad, but she couldn’t stay in a toxic relationship. It also says ‘no matter what you think you did wrong.’ It’s almost like denial of his actions towards her. This gives me the feels. Amazing song. Love you Chester <3

   I think the song 'She Couldn't' is about a girl who dies of some illness and her partner is left devastated. The girl has some ailment which many people know about, including herself and her partner. They know that she cannot stay alive for long."You know she couldn't stay here with you.
   You know she had to go." This states that he was aware that she could not stay with him because she had to go somewhere else, that is, she had to leave for the heavenly abode.
   "Even though she couldn't stay here with you,
   You know you're not alone." These lines convey that even though she has died, she is still there with him and he is not alone. She will always be there with him.

   Actually, the song is about Chester's break up with his first love, and the one "who got away" - a girl who goes by "R". They met when they were around 9, and shared a horrible bond. The same guy abused both of them. She was the only one who truly ever knew everything Chester went through because she lived it with him. They broke up because of messed up situations, and when she "went away", it was her going to rehab. The sun shining on her was when she got sober. They reconnected over the years, and stayed in touch every day until his death. He was with her the night before he died, saying goodbye. They shared a pretty profound bond.

   I think this song is about suicide and the loss of someone you love. I believe the song is talking about a girl and a boy being together. Then the girl commits suicide and the song is about the boy talking about how he should have known all along.

   I think the song is about a relationship with a female(girlfriend and boyfriend) and they love each other but they couldn’t work it out and, they both have feelings still but they had to split ways like “no matter what you think you done wrong, she knew she had to go along” so that is what I think abt this song

   This song is about a love story that shows the past and the present of two people love.
   In the past when they were together she was happy, she was smiling and the sun shinned on her.

   But they know they couldn't be together, there was something they both know that would set them apart, no matter what they could do...
   Now in the present they aren't together, but he sees her shining, beautiful, but inside she's crying, sad, hiding her tears because they can't be together.
   That´s why the sun shinned on her in the past and now cries for her.
