Always You Lyrics

I went to Amsterdam without you
And all I could do was think about you
And, oh, I should've known
I went to Tokyo to let it go
Drink after drink but I still felt alone
I should've known

I went to so many places
Looking for you in the...

Another line is “I went from LAX to Heathrow,” and Harry lives in LA, Louis says it doesn’t feel like home in London, maybe because he left Harry behind in LA. Lowkey the whole album sounds like it’s meant for Harry, but that’s just my opinion.

Guys, you say that Harry don't smoke but here it is an interview:

''I've probably been smoking [marijuana] for a while,” he explained. “I don't wanna say when I started because I don't want to influence anyone else. That's just something I do myself. It helps sometimes with the creative process, if you're smoking a good weed.”
So, this song is about Harry:)

Yall I get what you're saying with the cigarette but that's not proof. HE WENT TO AMSTERDAM WITH ELEVATOR. BUT THIS IS ALSO SO SIMPLE. who is he wasting time with? Who has he always been with, ELEVATOR! HES SAYING ITS ALWAYS BEEN HARRY. How could it have been elevator when he was already with her...

i'm a huge larry shipper but always you is definitely about eleanor:

    1.
louis wrote always you in early 2017,
he was in amsterdam with eleanor in july 15-july 17 2017(my bday :D)

    2.
harry DOESNT smoke (because of asthma), eleanor DID

    3. louis went to many many places without eleanor (because of the tours) with harry, there was no louis-tour in 2017 so he didn't traveled that much

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

❤ It's about Harry... I have no doubt... Because when he says "I know you hate to smoke without me" (people who are talking about cigarettes don't ever wait for someone to smoke with) but POT yes.. People love to smoke pot together... Harry in many interviews and playing truth or dare on tv talk shows alludes to that he DOES LIKE POT... he always smirks when they ask him... I believe it's POT that Louis is talking about that HARRY only liked doing with him... Trust Me... This song IS about Harry ❤

I am not quite sure who, 'Always You' is about. So these are my two opinions:
    1.) About Harry:
The thing is, he mentioned in an interview, 'I recently went on holiday in Amsterdam, with Eleanor my girlfriend.' And the first lyrics of the song go, 'I went to Amsterdam without you'...
    2.) About Eleanor:
Louis went on tour with the rest of the boys of One Direction, to Amsterdam. Another lyric is, 'I know you hate to smoke without me', and Harry does not smoke. He has asthma. I have done some research and found out that Eleanor has smoked before.
There are a lot of rumours going around that Louis and Eleanor broke up. Eleanor is back with Max, THE L TATTOO ON HER HAND IS GONE, she started untagging Louis from her photos, and unarchiving pictures with her ex, Max. I am indeed a Larry shipper, so whether or not 'Always You' is about Eleanor. I don't think it is always her... BUT, 'Too Young' is definitely about Harry.

I’m not a crazy blue greener, but I do think this is about Harry, there is so much proof it is about him. Louis went to Amsterdam with Eleanor (who doesn’t deserve hate btw please be nice to her!) after he went with Harry many times while on tour with 1d. Also, while I understand Larry did hurt Louis and Harry’s friendship, I do just want the boys to all be happy, and they seemed happiest together. No hate towards any of their girlfriends, I’m sure they are all great people. Anyway, I think Always You is about Hazza

    CLEARLY ABOUT LARRY CMON!!
he’s “been in a relationship” with eleanor so he wouldn’t go to these places without her. he’s been with her for years now so why is now just realizing “it was always you” he definitely broke up with harry for eleanor and is now realizing it was always him. walls is so loud, louis is so loud and good for him. one day they’ll be free

I am a Larry shipper, but the thing is, Louis sings, 'I know you hate to smoke without me', and Harry doesn't smoke. To add to that, he has asthma. However Eleanor smoked before. BUT, he went to Amsterdam WITH Eleanor... and he sings, 'I went to Amsterdam without you'. So I'm not quite sure who the song is actually about.

Although I understand why people think this song is about larry.
By shipping you are kind of trying to out them. Don’t do it. Let them live in peace.
    But anyways

I feel that the song can most likely be about Harry because in an interview before the song was released Louis mentioned that him and Eleanor went to Amsterdam together without anyone else. Before antis come for me though I also have reasoning as to why it could be about El: When Lou was in 1D they toured the world and went to Amsterdam several times so the song could be based of the experience although it might be about both El and Harry as he could have felt that way when he went to Amsterdam on tour about El and when he went to Amsterdam without Harry so this leaves me still speculating who it's about and also why.
