By the last breath of the fourth winds blow
Better raise your ears
The sound of hooves knocks at your door
Lock up your wife and children now
It's time to wield the blade
For now you've got some company

The Horsemen are drawing nearer

This song is about the apocalypse. In the Christian religion, the signs of the end of the world are The Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse; Pestilence, War, Famine, and Death. In the song, however, the are named as "time, famine, pestilence, and death" which is the right names, depending on who you ask.
