Through the Never Lyrics

All that is, was and will be
universe much too big to see

time and space never ending
disturbing thoughts, questions pending
limitations of human understanding
too quick to criticize
obligation to survive
we hunger to be alive
*twisting...

This song is about the curiosity that people have about human life and how we got here on earth and how we'll be forever trying to understand this. We will always be twisting turning through the never.

Curiosity about the universe. Twisting turning through the never is the earth spinning on its axis as rotates around the sun.

This song conveys a lot of what an Ancient Roman philosopher and writer, Lucretius, talked about in works of his such as "De Rerum Natura", meaning "On the Nature of Things". He believed that all matter was made up of many small particles, which we know of today as atoms or molecules, and that they traveled from one substance or solid to another through a "void" of nothingness, like they were "twisting turning through the never". People in those times thought he was crazy, and were "too quick to criticize", because we know today that he was right to some degree. He believed that the Universe was infinite and bottomless, and that we are constantly falling through it-"time and space never ending". Many philosophers in general tried to understand the Universe and nature, but in the end, human understanding is too finite to grasp the vastness of all existence.

Um... No... Thats retarded!!! Nowhere in that song did I here any references to "Spacemen running out of fuel"! I agree with the first one. "Time and space never ending. Disturbing thoughts, questions pending. Limitations of human understanding." refers to the universe and about how people are trying to understand it.

um....no. this song is about a group of astronauts whos mission it is to travel to the deepest reaches of space. a problem eurupts (no fuel?) and they are sent twistin turning through the never(blackhole) and they never return. they go on forever through the empty blackness of space

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
