   So basically most ppl are saying that the song means what the tile is saying
   and (big suprise) they love the band
   
   i like to make my own assumptions and presume that is about one guy going to be in a battlewith his friends and even thouth he's about to go down, he will stick it to the end for his firends,
   and that part in the song where it gets confusing is when they're fighting
   then something happens and the song title comes into play

   Does it matter if someone in the band is gay? You can write a song from a perspective other then your own. Plus even if the one who wrote it is gay, then there's the fact that he's talking aobut rape, which no one likes, which constitutes it as rape in the first place....

   Ok you do know that the first and the second cd are talking about two lovers being together but one of them dies. The male in this is trying to find his way back to his girlfriend.
   
   And in the second cd (three cheers for sweet revenge) it say :the story fo a man, a woman, and the corpses of a thousand evil maen..."-- he has to kill off 1,000 evil men to get back to his love. Thats what both of the cd's are based on. He made it to kind of relate to some of his own troubles (alcohol abuse, pain killers, depression, and suicide like many of us may have experienced I know I have). True mcr fans know that.

   Gerard is bi and admits to it. Bert and Gerard have made out, and Gerard admits he is some what attracted to Frank (who is also bi) there have been pictures of g, and frank holding hands and slight kisses. But he's not full on gay. He hasn't been to prison (as far as I know).

   Okay, he isn't bi or gay. Gerard Way and Bert McCracken hate each other (shocking right?) A source said he crossed two names of his Christmas list: George Bush and My Chemical Romance. This subject is really getting on my nerves. Every time I'm looking up something about Gerard, this damn topic always comes up. Although he kisses guys from other bands or vice versa it means nothing. Gerard even kisses his brother like that, and for all you negative thinkers, it's not incest (attraction between family memebers). My brother was kissed by dudes and he has a girlfriend. He won a basketball game and he was kissed by his teammates and the coach. I love Gerard and don't care what he is.

    Ok. Personally...after listening and reading the lyrics alot, I think the song is about a man. (Not Gerard..just someone)who does all these bad things, and he thinks he'll never get cought, "Well there never gonna get me" and so finally he gets sent to prison, and maybe on the side or something he might have had a secret gay/bi relationship with a guy, and he's going to have to leave him and all, "Now! But I cant, and I don't know". Then once he is in prison he realizes just how absolutly horrible it is:
    
    "They all cheat at cards.

    My cellmates a killer,
    They make me do push-ups (in drag)"
    
    I got up to there..but then the end sort of confuses me. Lol. I can't exactually put it into words or a story.

    I think it might be a reference to Shakespeare's play "Othello". I think it could be because MCR has more then one song with a literary reference. If any one knows the story of Othello, it's about deception. The homosexuality references could be refering to how Iago, the main villian, hates Othello but has a love for him that makes you think that it may be homosexual.
