See You On The Other Side Lyrics
Voices, a thousand, thousand voices
Whispering, the time has passed for choices
Golden days are passing over, yeah
I cant seem to see you baby
Although my eyes are open wide
But I know Ill see you once more
When I see you, Ill see you...

This could be interpreted without reference to death as well. I'd been seeing someone for a while and we fit like a glove. We've taken a break as she needed space to deal with her past. For me, every time I think of her, I want to sing this to her. I loved the song 20 years ago but it's only now that it has extra meaning in my life

The song is about a person dying and trying to ease the pain loved ones are feeling. By saying its not forever, the crying will stop when I see you on the other side.

It doesn't really matter who Ozzy wrote the song for. The song came out 3 weeks before my dad passed away. My son hung himself in 2015. I will see you on the other side son. That is my interpretation of the song. Great song. Love Ozzy.

Don't you love it when people just "think" something and blather it like diarrhea out of their mouths? Just because THEY said it that makes it fact. Morons.
1 whole minute of research and you can WATCH and LISTEN to Ozzy say it's about Sam Kinison. Bunch of experts...

I don't know who this song was written for in Ozzys eyes, there are many different ideas.... but for me, 5 years ago today, June 5th, 2010, as I left the hospital where my mom had just taken her last breath of life, this song was playing on my car stereo when I turned the key on.
For me, it was my moms way of saying...., I'm ok :)
It gave me a sence of comfort...., thank you Ozzy

No its about Sam Kinson, the Oz man said it himself. Interpret it how you wish as each opinion is that of 1 individual. I however do see the connection people make with Rhoads and this song however. I wish I could say its for Randy, but its not. The reason Ozzy hasn't done a song for Randy is because its still tough for Ozzy to talk about. I've asked him when i saw him at ozfest. He truly loves his fans he was bullshitting with a huge group of us it was epic!! Totally unexpected.

Ozzy wrote it for Sharon when she was battling cancer. He thought she was going to die and this song is for her.

I believe every song has a special and different meaning for each individual person, that being said my high-school sweetheart and I were together for 10 years and 1 month, (and proud to say without ever splitting up) and engaged for 1 year, when we were about 14-15 decided that this was our 'song', didnt think much about it till we started planning our wedding for 2006, then decided that would be our first song as a married couple and told a few close family & friends, some thought it was an odd choice but we didnt realy care, but when he passed away in a car accident that we were in just 6 months before our wedding date I actually thought to myself that this was the reason this was our song all this time, if I hear it on the radio I realy feel like it's him :(

This isn't about someone dying, it's about you dying and leaving your loved ones behind, it deals with confronting your own mortality...

I think this song probably is about Randy, however, I has always been great to me in the way that when I was getting deployed to Iraq I told my girlfriend that if anything happened to me, I'd see her on the other side. Music is something different to every person, don't argue it, listen to it.
