The Seventh Summer Lyrics

Lyrics to The Seventh Summer :
The vapour in my mind makes it hard to find
The things in life that I lost back in time

    Honestly no idea.

This is a long shot but, the first part of the song seems to be about how one's assumptions of good and bad, wrond and correct can turn out to be completely erroneous one day and how that can conpletely devastate one's mental health. However, while it works for the chorus, when it comes to the verse I have no idea what the "Trial of my heart" or the "Vapor in my mind" mean and how (if) they relate to the aformentioned explanation.

And then we come to the bridge. I don't have the slightest of ideas what it's about. The "Seventh summer of my life" sort of implies that the main character of the song is 7 years old, but that's ridiculous. It might be about losing connections with people and growing increasingly far apart, and thus having nobody to rely on, hence "There's a river between us, it's become so wide" but then again, what does that have to do with anything?

Alright, as you can see I'm pretty stomped by this song. There really is only one thing I am completely certain is true, that this song is a darn banger.
