Expendable Youth Lyrics
Home turf my battlefield
In no one's way caught in a crossfire
Stray bullets can kill
CHORUS
Expendable youth
Fighting for possession
Having control a principle obsession

The first answer is right. The rest should be ashamed of themselves as slayer fans. HANNEMAN was a ww2 buff as when he was a kid his father gave him a bunch of German medals and other war paraphernalia. Drug induced warfare refers to the Germans being jacked on Pervitin (meth). How else do you think the germans literally ran thru France for 3 days straight with no sleep.
-
It's about WWII and fighting Hitler and the drug induced is about his supermen. And the moral is that war don't care how old you are, if you carry a gun or just a baby. Fight is for some power to gain control of all. And everyone especially the fighting youth are expandable.
-
The song is about gang violence.
-
The basis of this song is about the gang violence of South LA, its' dark history over the last 30-or so years up until now. Plus, most gang violence around America, and how it's affecting people. It possibly could have been a war song, something of a 'Nam nature, but because of the "Drug-induced warfare," and "rivalry and retribution," it's leaning towards the anger between gangs and their bad blood.
