As a traveling business man this song touches me every time I hear it and think of my daughter as I walk out the door. I leave the house and, as I drive to the airport and/or hear this song I think about why I have to leave, what is important for me and for my company or more importantly what's important for me and my family to be away from her. "Daddy, where do you when you leave me all the nights, with your suitcase and guitar in your hand?" Where do you go? Daddy where do you go??? The other parts of the song are the justification for leaving and the things he feels justify his a sense from her. The bus it is our steeple. It brings us to the people.
Great song!
