    I believe in an interview Zac said it was about his life, his parents divorced and it was about his dad.

    I think its about a guy and a girl who had a son but their marriage didn't work out. She kept custody of the child but he sees him every now and again.The Highway 20 ride means he rode on Highway 20 to get there.

    It's about a father and he's singing to his son. He divorced his wife and now he lives far away and he has to drive to see his son. He wants his son to know that he loves him and cares about him.
