Scars To Your Beautiful Lyrics

She just wants to be beautiful
She goes unnoticed, she knows no limits
She craves attention, she praises an image
She prays to be sculpted by the sculptor
Oh, she don't see the light that's shining
Deeper than the eyes can find it
Maybe we...

This song is about inner beauty and the world that asks girls to wear a makeup.

I am a teenager and I don't wear makeups or care about my hair when almost all of my friends cover up their faces.
Since I was thirteen all the girls started to care about their appearance and i thought like, when your inside is beautiful why do you have to wear a mask. Now I'm sixteen since the adults continuously asked me to wear makeups I tried some makeups for my first time this year. For me i think it works Real bad and it felt like I'm loosing myself in this world

This song is telling the girls that they are beautiful as they are and they do not have to change themselves to fit in "ideal beauty"

As a teenager i sometimes struggle when people around me asks me to wear a makeup or when all my friends except me are covering up their face. But I know that what I really think beautiful is my own face and my heart.
And I believe the most important thing is to believe that your beautiful isn't somewhere else

"You should know you're beautiful just the way you are
And you don't have to change a thing, the world could change its heart

I had anorexia and listening to this song helped me because it boosted my confidence and made me feel like I mattered, no matter who you are what your problem is "you are beautiful just the way you are".

This song is to tell girls everywhere that you are one unique snowflake in the billions out there and you are beautiful, no matter what, inside and out. A few other things this songs mentions are that you don't need to starve yourself to be a certain weight. Also, you can cry. When it mentions cutting woes away, I believe this song is talking about self harm, that it's okay to cry; dont cut your beautiful body. Also, Alessia Cara struggles with a condition that involves hair loss and she would always be so self conscious. She knows what it's like to be in a world that expects you to be perfect.

I love this song because I can relate to it in many ways. As the song quotes in different ways, I can see it referencing different things like Anorexia and Self-Harm. Having done both of those things, I think that I can see myself; and for me, this song can touch me in a few different ways. I just tink this song can touch people, and it makes me feel more happy listening to it.

This song is about how women and girls everywhere don't need to follow society's rules or regulations or whatever. It tells every girl that she is perfect no matter what she looks like, how she acts, what she thinks of herself, or what others think of her. Alessia wants girls to know that it's okay to be different and that we don't have to fit into this mold that our world expects us to have as our goal. We don't have to listen to the idiocy of our stupid world because society doesn't know what it's like to have an eating disorder because someone was told that they're fat. Society doesn't know what it's like to put on loads of makeup and get all the newest and trendiest clothes just to fit in. Just be your fcking self cause that's the most beautiful part of you love you all remember who you are and what you stand for <333

My cousin is having a hard time right now. I bet you can imagine what I mean. Anyways, whenever I even think of this song it reminds me of her. She doesm't realize her own inner beauty, her own strength, and the fact that you don't have to look or be perfect. Just be yourself. And the world shouldn't have the power to change you. The world needs accept you as you are, not the other way around.

It tells girls that you dont need to fit in to be beutiful and you're already special and covering you're face with make-up makes you ugly and beautie is pain

I think that this song is about inner buety and I really relate to this song, while I don't starve myself I always compare myself to other teens and I am kind of socially awkward so when I see other 15 year olds I start comparinf myself to them and I sometimes put on makeup but after I heard this song I stopped using makeup anytime I went to a friends house.

This song centers around a girl who is told by everyone that's she's not pretty enough and needs to change herself. For whatever reason, she listens to them, and the results aren't at all good for her.
What Cara is telling this girl is that she doesn't need other people's approval to be beautiful. The beauty that counts comes from the inside.

This art is not all about beauty, it connotes something you've lost in you, more like the confidence you lost in yourself, dreams, aspirations, hope and beauty to your fears and urge to belong ....
This song is a saving grace to the womenfolk who wrestle with the thrusting urge to fit-in where they were tossed away like chaff. It urges women to be strong, confident, free, active and boundless. It urges women to be who they wanna be without looking into the world's mirror ...
    It is my inspiration

The lyrics really connect to me sometimes because I don't feel good enough, and the lyrics give a different meaning to beauty and life which is amazing, the world expects girls to cake makeup on their face and feel beautiful instead of feeling beautiful by heart!.

I think it means you should love yourself just the way you are . " You don't have to change a thing , the world can change it's heart " meaning you don't need to put on makeup , do plastic surgery , eat less etc . The people in the world would have to change to understand the real you . You don't need makeup to make you look beautiful . People hide their real self way to much now and I think it song tells them , they shouldn't be hiding anymore .

To me this song represent so many people who don't feel beautiful and try to change it. It shows how as a society we make people feel. We feel we have to be perfect we are made to beleive it. We feel we should be liked or loved by everyone. These lyrics show this "attention she praises, an image She prays to be." It mentions covergirls who are generally beautiful and it says "cause cover girls don't cry, After there face is made." which is kind of giving the impresion they are not man-made.
It make them sound like godesses and that to be beautiful you have to be like them instead of who you really are.
