Whoever wrote that above doesn't know what they're talking about. Woolam left ELO shortly after the first album, which was 3 albums prior to Eldorado, and never played another note on anything by the band afterward.

This song is about Stephen Joseph Woollam's violin that is heard on the Eldorado album. Woollam secretly contributed to Eldorado, and his distinct violin is briefly heard after the lyrics "above the city's cares" in Mister Kingdom. That's why Jeff Lynne selected the name Above The Clouds for this song and why it was placed after Livin' Thing on A New World Record.
