When I get home from work,
I wanna wrap myself around you
I wanna take you and squeeze you
till the passion starts to rise

I wanna take you to heaven
That would make my day complete

But you and me ain't no movie stars
What we are is...

For me, it's about a man who works hard everyday (saw the video) and he sees his wife sleeping when he gets home and he wants to make love to her. He wants to awaken her senses and her body and feel her passionate love. He will be satisfied and happy if she reaches heaven and make her happy. But he is hesitant to do it because he feels his wife will not like idea of a sudden lovemaking with her. He knows they are both content with their simple life and it would be too much to have a dynamic, sensual and unrepressed love like the movie stars.

This song is about Alice Cooper as an alcoholic, and him being in a relationship. The video is very odd, and I can't say exactly what it depicts, but we all know Alice Cooper was an alcoholic, and it shows deeply in the video. WHen I first heard the song, I just thought it was a pretty song about the relationship he was in at the time. The album is also called "Lace and Wisky", so that might help the fact of it involving alcohol. I hope I helped in some way. Please try to watch the video, and make your own interpritations of it. I'd like to know what you think. Keep in mind, Alice Cooper is very theatrical, and love theatre, even though it doesn't always make perfect sense. Rock on, dudes.
