Heaven Lyrics

[Verse 1:]
I fought for you
The hardest, it made me the strongest
So tell me your secrets
I just can't stand to see you leaving

[Hook:]
But heaven couldn't wait for you
No heaven couldn't wait for you
Heaven couldn't wait for you
No...

"Heaven" was about her miscarriage earlier before Blue Ivy. "I fought for you the hardest, you made me the strongest." She had such an emotional connection with her baby, just as any mother does. It's very hard to lose a child, but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger(as Kelly puts it)."Heaven couldn't wait for you." She knows it's not her choice and her baby is in the hands of God. "So go on go home." She believes in her god and that her baby is in its true home, heaven.

Not everyone that dies goes to heaven. Jesus calls us to repentance first. However, a baby leaves heaven to come and teach us lessons believe it or not. That baby that does not reach that stage goes back home because this world is an oven you know. And it is too hot to some of us, and even to babies.

The song was inspired by the miscarriage of her baby, but in media you need to attract the broader audience and there isn't much audience for miscarriages, but a much larger crowed for'loosing someone close to you'

I think its about her baby before Blue Ivy and her best friend, So when she says go on home she telling them to go on to heaven cause they with her heavenly father and they dont have to struggle on this nasty earth anymore and they will be gone but not forgotten.

This song is really sad if you really listen to it it's about her friend who died she worte it for her (heaven couldn't wait for you) saying heaven couldn't wait to have her bff with them so they took her early it reminds me of my grandma it came as soon as she died

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

the song heaven obviously stands for when there was someone so close and dear to another person and they grew together they went through different experiences together they had very fun times together they taught each other what they know now but the other person died at a young age at the time when they weren't done with their adventure and so the line "heaven couldn't wait for you.." refers to that the other line "so go on go home" is showing respect for the person showing they can move on now but they shall never be forgotten
