    I think that this song is showing that people arent always who you think they are and just because that is how they act aroung you that doesnt mean that is how they act behind closed doors. I think this song is ver self explanatory.

    It sounds to me like the artist is struggling to find his way into someone's heart. She hides who she really is to keep herself closed off and he sees this and he's trying to find out why.
