This song I believe is about being angry with his family because they abused and neglected him as a child. And he's also singing for everyone who has gone through the similar things. The beginning and ending lyrics sound like he's singing about a girl being abused and how it affected her. and then he starts singing about himself and how it affected him as well. Idk those two parts are kind of confusing. Anyway it's an incredible song and I love it!

I believe that he is blaming his father for the way he is. But I also picked up some vibes of rape... Maybe while he was an addict, he committed rape and is trying to apologize? That's just a theory.
