Well, when I first heard this song, I literally cried because it brought back the feelings when my friend Lucy was killed when I was in 5th grade back when I lived in Chicago. She was about ready to go into high school when she was killed. It made me depressed for a long time, but then I heard this band and song; it reminded me of her alot, all the songs. "You Should Know" is far most the best and powerful song I've ever listened to!
The song is about missing a loved one, and trying to heal or cope without their presence.
