   im about 90% sure thats he's saying "i was the other guy" not "ba da be ba da die"
   which kinda makes more sence of why he's blue.
   he was kind of a "backup" boyfriend, and when he found out he was blue (sad) and it seemed to him that everyone and everything else he saw was blue also...

   Just listen to the music, this is one of those random songs that noone can interperet.

   I have a slight correction for the lyrics
   
   I have listened to "I'm blue da ba de da ba die" intently on making out the words.
   
   From what I can make out it is actually saying:
   "I'm blue and I believe I will die,
   I believe I will die,
   and I believe I will die." I'm not sure but I think this might change a few interpretations.
