Alright, so, we have an interesting song on our hands. First off, this guy is depressed. Left by a girl, he's alone and p'd off at the world. When the sun shines, most people are happy and more alert and such, but when it's cloudy and dreary and rainy, he's content-not mad at everyone because they aren't happy either! I love the line about politics and hypocrites-I'm fed up with the government and so is he! I honestly think of a bitter OLD man when I hear this song, but I know he's not entirely OLD.
