    I think this song is about Ronnie's family.. maybe he hasn't seen them in a while and he's writing about it..

    This song is about all the meaningless wars that were going on at the time this song was written while insulting christianity at the same time. lol in the chorus it says pay for all of those in pain for those who died in vain: meaning we should pay more respect for those who died while fighting for us and also the little amount of respect we is meanigless and half hearted.
