This song is about someone who has to leave home for a while so they leave their signifigant other and he's saying how she was so great even though she wasn't perfect. and "my hands are tied to pages inked to bring you back" means that he keeps writing about how much he wants her to be right there with him.

Again, this could be about a girl.
But as it says "We miss you" its talking about the band. Contrary to popular belief, Fall Out Boy had several friends back home in Chicago. When Pete and Joe started Fall Out Boy Pete was part of another band all together. Fall out boy is successful and on the road. They could be writing about missing there friends, along with there girlfriends, and family.
Pete makes his lyrics vague for a reason.

Ummm well I really just think it's about Pete... or however they want it to be... writing to his love back home ... He's on the road a lot "tonight let the headphones deliver the words that I can't say" ... She can take comfort into listen to love songs ... That he may have written about her. .. I dunno but it seems clear in the lyrics.
