    I'm most likely wrong, but I thought it was meant to be making fun of attention seeking teenagers that pretend their lives are horrible and make shit up to seek sympathy. I do understand that people actually do get depressed, but I have run into several people that seem to almost want to be depressed and seem to purposely seem that way.

    i was listening to loveline a bit ago and they said when they had the lead singer of garbage on she said she had a fetish for guys peeing on her. is it at all possible the lyrics are about that? "pour your misery down on me"

    This song to me seems to be about almost loving the emotional pain you experience, possibly because it's what an individual has gotten used to and accepted that the negative feelings are what she feels most comfortable with.
