You Belong to the City Lyrics
-
This song is about the sexual harassment, sleep, physical wound assaults, and other terror musicians and other people experience by groups such as the Nazis and Mafia. It's part of what's known as the B terror, and people who experience it are terrorized with words such as "to be", "before", "below", and "belong". They're threatened with the B, times of the morning such as "four", how things will "be low", and how their days and the assaults will "be long". They're told they belong to the night, get led to think there's a big bust, and it's going to be a long two days for the city, something musicians and other people have been waiting for decades to happen.
