    To me, this song sounds like it's describing a relationship that's having difficulties and saying to observe what's going on and not always speaking. "Feeling the silence" is observing the non verbals and understanding what they mean and how someone is feeling. Or, it's a clever way of totally telling your girlfriend to shut up
