Mr Browstone Lyrics

I get up around seven
Get outta bed around nine
And I don't worry about nothin' no
Cause worryin's a waste of my...time

The show usually starts around seven
We go on stage around nine
Get on the bus about eleven
Sippin' a drink and...

Mr Brownstone, is actually about anal-sex. The stone being the asshole and the brown..well we all know what that relates to. And the band here warns about the dangers of anal-sex, getting up late, giving into the addiction of anal-sex, how everyone in the music business is all about anal-sex and if that you dont do it, you will never get anywhere. It also points to how degrading conditions are in the music business, the exploitation of minors, and their exposure to lots of anal-sex.

Izzy and Slash are at Izzy's girlfriend's house(Desi) discussing how they hate being addicts to heroin. "Brownstone" being a slang term for heroin,Slash and Izzy begin writing lyrics and music. They show it to Axl and they make it a full song.

Mr Brownstone was their heroin dealer during slash's, izzy's and adlers heroin days. He lived across the street and could make the shit outta anything, mostly garbage and drain cleaner. If you read the slash book you would know haha.
what made guns so cool was that all their songs were personal experiences or people they knew, therefore each song is genuine making appetite such a classic record.
