    Its written to his addiction. I was in rehab 22 years ago and my first thought when I heard the first 30 seconds of this song was what we did in rehab... wrote a letter to our addictions and when we were done we burned them.out in the bbq outside.

    Obviously it's about opiate addiction being prob a heroin junkie and how hard it is to get clean but when u do life gets better there's hope after dope 4 yrs later it still speaks to it has since day one when I was addicted to heroin this song helped me through the withdrawals and detox mind u I did with nothing to help ease my pain cold turkey and never looked back it wasn't easy that's for sure anyone battling addiction there is hope and u can do it your stronger than the drugs
