   No ambiguous lyrics about demons or even the sleazy music industry (they covered that with Barracuda) Take the lyrics at face value...
   Ann Wilson wrote this about the beginnings of her relationship with then bandmate Mike Fisher.
   He was a few years older when she met him at 19, a few days later she followed him to Canada (And thank God she did or Heart would never have been)

   Simple...the “Magic Man” in this song is a demon. Quite common in the music industry is selling your soul for fame & success...and sometimes these deals lead to more, such as affairs or relationships. Demons are incredibly clever & seductive. This particular one not only helped the band with their sound & lyrics, helped them get famous, but possibly also had a tryst with one or more of the band members.

   A passionate, full of life song by the lovely Wilson sisters and their awesome band HEART about a Mom that was and still may be concerned about her daughter growing up to fast that became dazzled and in ''love'' with and by this so called''Magic Man'' that he believed he was and loved being that wanted to get high by just wanting her to come over his house to be in her presence and make magic tricks in front of her as a ''Magician'' and probably wanted to come over her house also and ''make things disappear'' to win her heart over by ''magic'' that her Mom was very leary and worried about.
