Hurricane Streets Lyrics
Here's the flood flash
I feel so locked and loaded
Let me out, let me out
Wake up in a wasteland
Where the trees are crashing fast
Make or break
The road explodes
Get out, get out of this town
Live faster, live...
-
I think that Hurricane Streets is about how she feels like she needs to move faster in life, because she is waiting too long for love. "Life faster. Love stronger." I think she feels that if you wait too long to act on something, you could miss your chance. "Better speed up or get blown over." When she says "Time's wasting. How much longer? Until I free myself from these hurricane streets?" and "Get out, get out of this town." I think she is talking about how she has stayed in the same place for so long, and she needs to move on.
