    I honestly think it's about Jesus' life. Especially the line "Soon you're thirty three", well Jesus was meant to have died on the cross at 33. I just think it all fits.

    To me, it's about having a child and looking at the innocence of a baby that will undoubtedly be tested and tarnished with the hardships of life. And telling that baby that it's ok, it's the way it's supposed to be. The person saying this has gone through that and the only way to feel that sweet innocence again is to see yourself through the eyes of a child.
