All For The Love Of A Girl Lyrics
Sad and broken hearted and it's all because of you
Life was so sweet dear, life was a song
Now you've gone and left me
Oh, where do I belong?
And it's all for the love of a dear little girl
All...

I take it as a father losing a young daughter. He refers to himself as a man and she is always referred to as a girl. "He would give his life and the joys of this world" insinuate great grief as in a death. "Where did I go wrong" indicates self blame as a lament to God as having failed in someway.
