Twist is a musical personification of human feelings of aggression and rage, and at the same time it is also an interpretation of one’s perception of the world while under the influence of a drug,
We’ll call twist a Party song with a deeper underlying meanings within it...

I think Head Welch said this, but i think he said that, when John wen't into the studio, he was randomly scatting out of knowhere. The gang thought it was pretty dope and crazy, so they decided to put it into a 46sec song. Drugs may have been included

He wrote this song just to prove at live performances that he can actually do this with his own voice.

I would say it pertains to twisting up a joint or twisting a meth pipe.

This interpretation may be insane as hell but I honestly think that it's a song about the insecurity and anger of youth. You're full of rage but you can't say about what (well, that's what I as a teen feel sometimes) and all you can bring out are growls and stuff. That's also the reason why the song has such an aggressive sound.

I think it's just him belting out his awesome voice. I've heard that's his rap, but there's so much screamo and it's so fast, its borderline skatboxing (skat and beatboxing)SO it meshes from lyrics to awesomely killer noise he's awesome at making.
