Remind Me To Forget Lyrics
Your kiss like broken glass on my skin
And all the greatest loves end in violence
It's tearing up my voice, left in silence
Baby it hit so hard, I'm holding on to my chest
Maybe you left your mark,...
Maybe it's a relationship between a couple, and I guess one of them is always cheating on their loved one, but they don't wanna let them go, but the other person in the relationship does and is done with what they had to put up with...
Like this part, "It doesn't matter where you are, you can keep my regret.. "
The person wants them to know about them regretting the fact that they fell in love with the person in the first place.
"Remember I told you
To save it, it's over
And I'll be alright
So hurt me as much as you like
I need you to let go
I got these mementos
And I'll be alright"
I guess in this part they're saying that the person breaking it off doesn't want to hear the apology it what they have to say, they want the person to let go, even though the person that's breaking it off still secretly has feelings for them, although they have be hurt all these times.

I think it means that he was in a relationship and they broke up. And now he misses and regrets it. He has scars in his mind and is trying so hard to forget his past love but he can't. He still wants to be with the person.

If you truly love someone, do you ever really stop?
Not for me, anyway. Some love is forever.
It's true that time can heal most wounds and sometimes forgiveness is involuntary, which is why the scars left behind are so important...sometimes you need to remind yourself of what was done to you. If you struggle with letting go, make it a conscious choice to forget the lovers that have left you wounded. Remind yourself to forget.
