I think the song was made for her late friend Sonya, who died from cancer in 2017. In the song she said that ignorant she can’t find the cure she will fix her with her love.

It's about her friend who was diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately she passed away recently that's why i made the connection with this song. Pray for those with cancer.

Lyrically, the song is about unconditional love for someone and was inspired by Gaga's fans. While performing "The Cure" at 'Coachella', the singer said to the crowd: "I love you guys so much. I have been through so much in my life and I’ve seen so much. And you cure me every time with your love."[13]

I think she is talking about a child or infant she will take care of and pretect in the real world of hate and pain.
