   As i see it, When the words of say you, say me. He talks about them as a couple. Say it for always, thats the way it should be. A reminder of how their lives have been lived as a couple of a close friending bond. Maybe a little love and lust between them, but more friendship than anything and they can always count upon each other to be their. As they both being single, might be in and out of friendships, relationships, and lose loved ones. The two will always remain their for each other to make sure the other one is never alone. Its their way of saying I love you but in a tight friending way.
