I believe it's addressing the Madonna/Whore complex that some men have about women - not seeing them fully sexual beings. He says "the mother" not "your mother". He is saying can you see a women who might also be a mother as a sexual being, or will you shame her for having those desires.

Think he is a bit more freakier then most... Speaks to me but goes to some dark places...If it is what i think it is -> WHOLLY shit... Means he is a little more real then most... Really adult kinda shit blurring some major lines... That being said, perhaps some else can push the clarity needed here..
