   this song was written when robin from good morning America was going through her Brest Cancer treatments during the hardiest part of here life. the song message is about never giving up "don't quit don't give in you an over comer and god lives inside of you " quoted from the song the song also says "hang on to gods promises" I personly think the song means hang in there an god is there for you and never back down and when you fall you get right back up because god is holding you right know and every day he is holding on to you
