   The simple view is that we are missing the point of life - and are caught up in petty / materialistic pursuits...making things too complicated. You can't take it with you...but we are too stubborn or conditioned to admit we may have missed the plot and have our priorities hosed.

   Let me start off by saying I put a lot of thought into this. Key words, thought. This song is about how you should just live life and take it as it comes. Fads come and go, along with people and life itself.
   Humming birds are supposed to be the fastest birds out there. And birds them self are as free as it gets. So they must be dead, or at least dying. So the point is you live you die so get over it. This is the bad news and I love it because it puts a rest in my soul that I know I will be the same as everyone else as everyone is to me now.
   He is just trying to say that you only live life once and that you should try to have as much fun as possible. "sure as hell stayed out almost every single night but if the partys over if the fun has to end," life is the party and the end is death.... He wants to be buried with the fun because he does not want to let go of it... It's time to be buried...
   Its all memories, when its over they are all that's left. And to summarize all thoughts this may give breath to you live you die. But while you're alive it is what you make of it. So make bliss and fuck off
