Basically the song is about a girl that has a friend with whom she gets along because she satisfies him/her suppressing her desire to make pop music only to fit in with him/her, until she gets tired of it and decides to launch a pop career. Her friend seems to hate pop music and says it's a sh*t because everybody likes it, but she replies to him/her saying it's her decision and her friend has to deal with it.
