Don't Hold Your Breath Lyrics

You can't touch me now there's no vision left
If you think I'm coming back don't hold your breath
What you did to me boy I can't forget
If you think I'm coming back don't hold your breath

I was Sunday yes now there's such a long time come...

Exactly how i'm feeling right now...
I think this song is about a girl who has finally left her boyfriend because of the way he treated her. She has finally broke free from him and left him for good and she explains that he shouldn't wait for another chance because she is not coming back. I also think that he abused her and broke her heart so many times, he also sounds like he controlled her life, but she was too in love with him to care and she didn't have the strength to walk away until now.

It's just saying that she's leaving him and she isn't coming back and that she's kind of happy.

Do not stop breathing waiting for something to happen that won't happen. (Meaning that it will take longer for it to happen than you can possibly hold your breath.)
