Since the members of Parkway Drive come from a heavily ocean-based background (Byron Bay, which is a small surf town in Australia) Winston metaphorically compares his experiences in being a world famous metalcore band with a ship going through a storm and slowly sinking. The song is mostly about how despite the fact that they love touring around the world and rocking out heaps of shows and meeting fans, they miss their family and friends and it really does take a toll on them.
