Gone, Gone, Gone Lyrics
I'll be at your door tonight
If you need help,
If you need help.
I'll shut down the city lights,
I'll lie and cheat I'll beg and bribe
To make you well,
To make you well.
When enemies are at...

To the writer on October 27. I believe this song is about his deep love for someone. His words express how much he loves this person. He will love them forever even if they part ways. If you watch the video you can see their love for each other you can also see the happiness which they created together. The love is so strong he would do anything for them.

Whenever I feel like the world is against me this song helps lift me up. The deep meaning of it makes me feel like I matter and it really touches out to me

I feel like this could be one of the best funeral songs in existence. I hear it as even though you're gone, I'd still do this in your memory and I'll still love you through thick and thin.

It’s funny but, every time I hear the song
I feel his love is very sick and is dying.

Okay... I first got notice of this song with my friend saying this was how he felt about the girl he loved and I thought of it a way. Later, my other friend told me that they love me. They said this song shows how they feel about me and I see it in a different way. I think this song is saying no matter what, I love you. It’s saying I will do anything to make you happy. That’s one part. The other part is saying basically you are the one thing that keeps me alive. The one person that keeps me going. Maybe the person they like doesn’t like them but they know the person cares about them, hence the lyric,” You’ve always done the same for me.” I love this song

I think this song is about someone who loves some dear enough to never move on after he/she is gone...
‘I’ll love you long after you’re gone.’
It’s also saying he’d do anything for her I’ll shut down the city lights, I’ll lie and cheat, I’ll beg and bribe, to make you well. Those I think are just a few out of a long list of things he’d do for her.

When I hear phrases like Cornerstone, your well is dry,and always love you even when your gone..This gives me the inmpression that he is singing as if God is saying this to us..Just my take on this song. Minus the cheat beg and bribe...Not part of God

The singer will do anything for the person he loves. He will go to the ends of the earth to make life easier for them. All he asks is that his efforts and and love would be returned. He is a devoted person and needs the same rule of devotion from the other person.

i think this song tell us about a man who will do anything for her no matter she did, no matter what she feels. even in the worst he always be there for her. but he wonder "Give me reasons to believe
that you would do that same for me" it means do like he did. even she gone he still support and never moving on "I'll love you long after you're gone" she is everything for him

It symbolizes a strong feeling you have for your significant other through lyrics in a song, saying youll be there by their side no matter what, that ypu wont move on from them because theyre all you need, amd youll always love them with all of your being.
