    This song is about betrayal. A lover's betrayal and selfishness. It is about letting go, letting it be "in the lap of the gods" release of the pain that it caused. It is a meditative melody, in my opinion.

    I don’t have an interpretation but the original is so much better than the revisited version. I love Freddie’s deep low voice and Rogers high notes!
