The Violence Lyrics
The rocks are crumbling lose just at the edge
Are we laughing?

To me this song means that other people might not think we are good enough for something. Either we aren't brave enough or we can't handle what will happen to us. But WE are in control and no one can stop us from being who we want to be and doing what we want to do.
"So can we break this mold and set in motion something new? Forgetting what we know"
To me this part means that someone needs to stand up for whats right even if that means going against "the current." If just one person would do something against the norm or what people tell us we can or can't do then it will be easier for other people to stand up for what they think is right.
idk...that's just what it means to me
