   True, communication is keeping this boy and girl together. They know what to do but they are waiting for each other.
   
   I agree they shouldn't text but call each other to hear the feeling through their voice.
   
   Song is definitely for the boy and girl who are in love and have feelings for each other.
   
   So boys and girls who are experiencing this call them instead and not text them.

   I feel like communication is keeping the boy and girl from being together. They are both scared. I ask agree with the person that wrote.
   
   “ My interpretation Is about a boy and a girl they both want each other but the had their pride a hindrance between them and they keep waiting for each other. If who would message first for me the civil war is about waiting for him to message her first and him also waiting for her message. And the girl waits because she doesn’t want to come up easy to the guy and the guy also hesitates because he is maybe afraid of starting new with someone and it might end up wasting his time again. Also the girl is afraid too of getting hurt because of love. So the guy really wants to call her because he thinks they should stop texting each other but start calling each other. Clearly they like each other but they had reasons and attitude hindrance that would take too long for their communication to level up from just texting to calling. And i think he wants to hear her voice badly and she is too.”
   
   I also feel like they shouldn’t text. A text can be misinterpreted but when you call, you can hear the person feeling through their voice.

If who would message first for me the civil war is about waiting for him to message her first and him also waiting for her message.
