   I think this song is about Shawn having feelings for a girl but he doesn't know if this girl likes him back or sees him as anything. So he writes this song. At the part where he says "oh there she goes again every morning it's the same" I feel like he's saying she just keeps walking by him and not noticing him. He dreams about what they could be but when he wakes up he's sees it's just his "imagination".

    My interpretation is that a girl who never notices him catches his eye. He dreams of being with her and all the things he would do if she was his. But there is just one problem. He is afraid to tell the girl he likes her beccause if is afraid of rejection so silently hopes she would notice him and that they will end up together.
